LESSON ONE
The Anatomy of Change
You may be wondering why you did exercises in the introductory section - before you even started your first lesson. Well, the reason that we do that is because it is really helpful to do those particular exercises on your own before you have any idea of why you are doing them. You had 3 exercises to do, (1) evaluate where you're at right now on a scale of 1-10; (2) determine your focus or purpose for taking this course and (3) evaluate the level of change you desire in the nine main areas of your life.

These 3 exercises are your before picture in your before & after makeover. The first and last worksheets, establish where you are right now - before you have even taken the first lesson. And the second worksheet shows you a snapshot of your current goals and the beliefs of which you are aware, both good and bad. Hold on to these worksheets because you will be evaluating them again, comparing them to where you are as you change and grow through this program.

Now, let's get started. There are two recordings in this module. The first is to develop an understanding of change, what it is and how it works. The second is to discover and address your resistances to change.

Take your time. You have a week to work on this section. Listen to the first recording and do the exercises for that recording before you listen to the second one. Then listen to the second recording and do the exercises that follow. The information in every section is not intended to be taken in and regurgitated back. The exercises are solely to assist you to go deeper into understanding how you act, function and operate and why you do things the way you do. Take time to contemplate what you are learning in each lesson. Sit with it. Do an exercise and then go back and do it again. Get a journal and write out what you discover. You'll have an opporunity to discuss what you learn and get feedback and guidance in your one-on-one sessions.
